There is a large variety of sports and activities at hand in the surroundings of Mimizan, it’s beach, woods and lakes.

We’ve already mentioned playing Golf on the lovely Golf Club de Mimizan and all the activities the beaches have to offer such as surfing and kite surfing.
But, there’s also horseback riding, stand-up-paddling, windsurfing and rowing on the lake of Aureilhan for example. There’s a really nice ‘accrobranche’ and a small paintball parc across from us, right next to the Golf course. And for those who particularly enjoy nature, you can take long walks in the woods, or along the beautiful ‘route fleurie’ along the lake just behind the house. Nearby bike paths lead to other villages in the area.

Also, you will find all sorts of (nice!) boutiques in Mimizan Plage as well as restaurants and bars. Don’t miss those situated right on the beach.
